Another Amazing Transformation: A Stunning Home Makeover

Transforming spaces is what we do best, and this time, we took on a project that showcases our skills and expertise in home renovation. Here’s a detailed look at our latest work, featuring some of our favorite products and techniques.

Walls and Ceilings

We chose Amazing Gray for all the walls, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. For the ceilings, cabinets, and doors, we went with Swiss Coffee. This combination brings a clean, fresh look to the entire space.

Special Techniques

To ensure the best coverage and build, we add 25% primer to our Swiss Coffee mix. This little trick helps with the often challenging task of covering whites, without changing the color, but enhancing its depth and richness.

Oak Transformations

The oak hand railings were sanded down and primed with our special Swiss Coffee mix. This gives a fresh, modern look while preserving the original wood’s character. The same treatment was applied to all the oak cabinets. By sanding, refinishing, and painting, we’ve given them another decade of life.

Flooring and Finishing Touches

New floors are being installed, which will be the final touch in this renovation. The fireplace, previously oak, now features a sleek new look with Dunn-Edwards Echo Echo Globe paint. This amazing product offers superb coverage and durability, perfect for high-use areas.

Kitchen Cabinets

The kitchen cabinets, once at the end of their lifespan, have been completely revitalized. We took them down, sanded them, refinished them, and sprayed them to fill in the old grain. This process ensures a smooth, modern finish that looks brand new.

Exterior Decisions

As we move to the exterior, we’re still deciding on the color for the front door. The new black lights we installed suggest a cohesive look with a black door. However, we’re also considering the Amazing Desert Shadow. Your thoughts and suggestions are welcome as we make this final decision.
